Our guides are written by the people who build Bannerly. This page explains how we research them, what we verify first-hand, and the claims we will not make.

Who writes these guides

The Bannerly TeamProduct & editorial, Bannerly. We build Bannerly's banner editor. Every guide here is written against the product we maintain and checked in real email clients before it is published.

How we test

Anything we say about how a banner behaves in an email client has been checked by exporting a banner from the Bannerly editor and sending it to real accounts. The last full re-check of the client support table was 2026-08-21.

  • Banners are exported from the live editor, not mocked up.
  • Each export is viewed in Gmail (web and mobile), Apple Mail (macOS and iOS), Outlook on the web, and Outlook for Windows.
  • Where behaviour differs between clients, we say so in the guide rather than describing the best case.
  • Guides carry a “What we tested” note describing exactly what was checked.

What we will not claim

  • No invented statistics. We do not publish conversion or click-rate figures we have not measured ourselves.
  • No fabricated testimonials, ratings, awards or customer counts.
  • No product features that do not exist. Everything described in a guide can be done in the Bannerly editor today.
  • Where a claim comes from a third party — a mail client vendor, for example — we link to the source.

Updates and corrections

Every guide shows the date it was last updated. Email clients change, so we re-check the support table periodically and revise guides when behaviour moves. If you spot something wrong, tell us at [email protected] and we will correct it and note the change.
